Programs

Tampa ABI offers two program tracks: Ministry and Christian Service.

Ministry Track
The Ministry track is designed for individuals interested in becoming ministers. This program provides knowledge of the Bible, doctrine and ministry preparation with a focus on leadership in the church. Courses includes: Church Growth, Planting Churches, and the Christian Pastorate.

For those interested in ministerial license with the United Pentecostal Church International, the Florida District accepts Tampa ABI as a training program for licensing. The Institute serves the entire Florida District, and classes are open to everyone.

Christian Service Track
This Service track equips individuals who are passionate about ministry, but don’t feel the call for ministerial licensing. Although many of the courses are the same as in the Ministry track, there are specializations in the third-year program: Assimilation and Retention, Your Role in the Church, Church Service and Practicum, and Excellence in Teaching.
